About the Resort

Lake Owen Resort is a northern Wisconsin family vacation resort with comfortable lodging and recreation for everyone.  It is located on the shores of Lake Owen which has been named Wisconsin’s healthiest of 15,000 lakes. The resort is a small family-oriented, family owned and run resort in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest in the Cable Area.  We offer private cabin rentals, a 12 unit building with motel suites and a lower apartment for your lodging desires.  With the sandy beach & lake access for fishing, boating, & other recreation, there is plenty to do at the resort for an entertaining and/or relaxing vacation in Northern Wisconsin.  Lake Owen Apparel can be purchased in our office. We get a new shipment in every May and it sells out fast.  Check out our facebook page for the current styles.  We are more than happy to set aside items for your arrival.  Dock space is provided for your own personal boats.  We also offer pontoon boats, fishing boats and kayaks for rent to both our guests and to the public.

About Lake Owen

Lake Owen, with Crystal-Clear water, stretches 9 miles long in Southern Bayfield County. Maximum depth is 95′ deep. A large part of the lake is owned by Chequamegon National Forest giving Lake Owen a more private quiet appearance. Lake Owen Resort is located on the southern shore of the lake just four miles from Cable, Wisconsin.
